1. You are running throughout Disney world, the Disney castle, and Epcot Center with no lines before the park opens, what could be more fun!
2. The only race where the majority of runners are wearing tutus (men included!)
3. Throughout the course there are tons of picture spots with Disney characters (this is definitely one to run with a camera)
4. There is a big dance party before the race starts- very fun!
5. Nice Post race celebration with more princesses to pose for pictures, tons of luna bar freebies, and others
6. The race is started with the fairy Godmother and fireworks- very cool!
7. There are great kids runs attached to the race weekend- perfect for our daughters.
8. very cool exhibiters at the expo- including Cinderella's glass slipper
Sister's Lowlights
1. You have to get on the bus to get to the pre-race party/start line by 4:00 am which means waking at 3:30, after running around the park the day before. Early bedtime is a must!
2. The actual start line is a bit of a walk from the pre-race party so you have to walk with thousands of others in the dark to the start (a bit of a mess)
3. The start of the race is on the highway for a while so it is about 4.5 miles before you actually get into the parks. It is still dark out (because you start so early) and is a bit odd and early to just be running on a dark highway. They did have a Pirates of the Caribbean ship though so that was fun.
4. The shirts for the run at the expo were not very impressive. There should be more schwag for us princesses to buy!!
